Sharing my latest achievement :)

A new computer

Some months ago I materialized a computer thanks to a very conscious use of LoA principles: I visualized it, had the table ready and felt amazingly good for the computer I typed at. At that time there wasn't the slightest possibility of my buying a computer. But I was really very good at the steps of the process.

And after a most improbable secuence of events, my boss gave me a computer and a monitor as a present.

That was the beginning of my dreaming with a better income and potential independence. I could work on-line, etc. Also, I was able to read all the articles at PDP from home, at night, and I could talk with people I love and are far away.

When the first assignment as a VA came, I found out that the computer I had was not good enough for it. It had a disc of 14G... I know, that exists only in Uruguay!- and with only 11% of space the situation was all but good.

I started thanking the Universe for getting a good computer for my VA work and also for my new music interests. I didn't think about the Hows. Just on the end result. And I was extremely confident about it. I just knew I was going to have it! This happened approx. 2 weeks ago.

And "just like that", I won 4 numbers out of 5 in the lotto last Sunday, which meant more than 50% of my new computer, from which I'm writing this post right now. The new disc is of 149GB :), I have DVD recorder and I'll finally be able to download music!

This is big stuff for me. I'm enjoying my achievements with delight.

There's still the bigger step I have to take, to make more significant changes in my life. They go through the roads of relationships and abundance. I'm facing some self-limiting beliefs there but I am also confident that I'll overcome them soon.

Just for the records: I found 50 cents in the street at the middle of the week and gave proper thanks to the Universe for sending money my way! I learned this from a post and comment written by Aaron/Gary not long ago. Thanks my friends for the permanent inspiration!

May I post a poem by Szymborska?
You inspired me to look for one of my favorite poems to share with you and your friends.
I hope you don't mind.

A Few Words On The Soul

We have a soul at times.
No one's got it non-stop,
for keeps.

Day after day,
year after year
may pass without it.

Sometimes
it will settle for awhile
only in childhood's fears and raptures.
Sometimes only in astonishment
that we are old.

It rarely lends a hand
in uphill tasks,
like moving furniture,
or lifting luggage,
or going miles in shoes that pinch.

It usually steps out
whenever meat needs chopping
or forms have to be filled.

For every thousand conversations
it participates in one,
if even that,
since it prefers silence.

Just when our body goes from ache to pain,
it slips off-duty.

It's picky:
it doesn't like seeing us in crowds,
our hustling for a dubious advantage
and creaky machinations make it sick.

Joy and sorrow
aren't two different feelings for it.
It attends us
only when the two are joined.

We can count on it
when we're sure of nothing
and curious about everything.

Among the material objects
it favors clocks with pendulums
and mirrors, which keep on working
even when no one is looking.

It won't say where it comes from
or when it's taking off again,
though it's clearly expecting such questions.

We need it
but apparently
it needs us
for some reason too

@ Suzie:)Thank you! I'm keeping my wins in my records and I have LOTS of fun reading them every now and then.

@ Lexi:)Thank you! I also believe that gratitude, appreciation & trust are very important ingredients. However, you made me think about this: I have always felt gratitude and appreciation but no big surprises happened in my life before. Trust, however, is a new experience for me. The combination of the 3 look like a good recipe.

@ René:)Thank you, my Friend! For stopping by, and for sharing with us one of your favorite poems! Thank you also for having wanted to send me a computer in the past. I do remember it very well. And infinite thanks for all the myriad of ways in which you have helped me and supported me.
